Primary Role

The Sales Resourcing Specialist is responsible primarily, though not exclusively, for the hiring of

Sales merchandisers for their perspective sales region. Areas of focus will include partnering with the sales recruiters to ensure recruiters have a full understanding of the needs of the position- such as working hours, geographical territory for which the role will merchandise, job requirements, job duties and qualifications. This role will ensure that vacancies are prioritized according to revenue impact to ensure critical staffing levels are maintained to deliver against the needs of the business. This role will then interview potential candidates, extend offers and close candidates on behalf of retail merchandising supervisors/ hiring managers. This position reports directly into the Sales Region Vice President and plays a critical role in ensuring staffing levels are optimized and maintained while helping to support a more efficient and effective hiring process.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• Previous Retail / Grocery experience a plus

• Ability to manage multiple, sometimes conflicting priorities

• Strong interpersonal, listening and assessment skills.

• Strong follow-through and prioritization skills.

• Initiative, self-motivation and a strong sense of urgency are essential.

• Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks/projects while delivering results and meeting deadlines. Timing management skills are critical.

• Effective communication skills

• Problem solving skills

• Computer literate (Microsoft Office, Internet and Cellular/Wireless devices)
