Financial Analyst, Sales Incentives

Mondelez International is seeking energetic and enthusiastic self-starters to join the North America Finance team. We have multiple openings at this level within our Commercial (Sales) Finance, Integrated Supply Chain, and Finance Planning and Analysis.

Our Senior Financial Analysts are responsible for monitoring, reporting and analyzing monthly demonstration accrual, annual budget planning, conducting monthly/quarterly business reviews, forecasts, supporting the month-end closing process and helping to analyze and resolve issues as they arise. They will also have the ability to work on special projects with additional responsibilities as needed.

The successful candidates must have the ability to organize, analyze and interpret data to draw out insights and drive better decisions and provide the necessary financial guidance. The Senior Financial Analyst will work with multiple stakeholders and interact with various levels of leadership. Strong technical skills and the ability to work on complex, matrixed environment are critical to success in this role.

This position offers a unique opportunity to support the Sales Incentive processes, accounting, month End closing, account reconciliations and analysis as well as oversight of a MBS Genpact resource. The position interfaces with Field Sales, Strategy Sales, HR, Information Systems, Genpact and the Financial Accounting Department.

Responsibilities include

  • Sales Incentives accounting, including monthly analysis and recommendations of month-end accrual requirements

  • Coordination of balance sheet reconciliation and lead the favorability analysis

  • Oversight of Incentives cross-functional team and processes that include:

  • Actuals Revenues vs. Targets tracking and analysis

  • Incentives payout processing for Monthly, uarterly and Annual Bonuses - Execution of ad-hoc contests and Sales incentives aiming to drive topline - Establish collaborative relationships across the team

  • Sales incentives budget forecasting, budget management and Risks and Opportunities analysis

  • Customer teams Net Revenue Target setting process and reporting and analysis of performance vs. targets

  • Own and maintain excel based models

  • Identify future opportunities and/or problems, and articulate strong and clear positions based on sound judgment

  • Prepare analysis for ad-hoc requests; pull and analyze data

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • BS in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration required, MBA, CPA preferred

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Finance or Accounting is required

  • Experience in financial analysis and problem solving skills a must

  • Must possess critical thinking skills, quantitative and analytical problem solving skills with ability to interpret data

  • Ability to show initiative

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task

  • Strong communication and highly collaborative

  • Ability to influence cross functional team members

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

  • Experience with SAP preferred

  • Mobility is a plus
