Major Responsabilites

  • Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager the Asset Reliability (AR) Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of the overall loss prevention of the plant equipment and process technology to support delivery of the SQCDSM metrics. The AR Coordination builds Progressive Maintenance (PM) strategies in cooperation with the PM Pillar ensuring consistent PM IL6S progress, roll-out, and evolution. The AR Coordinator has five (5) direct reports – TBM Analyst, CBM Analyst, three (3) AR Process Technicians.

Essential Functions (include but are not limited to)

  • Coordinates AR agenda with M&R/loss eradication efforts to deliver plant metrics

  • Provides technical and methodological coaching

  • Engages plant population to fosters equipment reliability culture

  • Leads cost reduction and spare parts optimization

  • Ensures consistent IL6S PM Step 3, 4 and 5 roll-out and evolution

  • Introduces PM advanced tools and human reliability

  • Communicates direction to AR team and coordinates with the M&R Leader to deliver loss prevention actions in critical areas

  • Responsible for understanding and using SAP 6.0

  • Accountable for execution of relevant projects

  • Responsible for using fact based data to making calls on maintenance issues

  • Accountable for assessing performance of direct reports and provides formal feedback to core teams

  • Maintains a level of understanding of equipment functionality for assigned area

  • Ensures colleagues are trained and cross-trained for specific assignments

  • Leads and participates on improvement teams, interacting with all levels

  • Responsible for colleague compliance with all safety, quality, GMP, and Human Resources policies and procedures

  • Coaches, motivates and support the team to ensure information flow, colleague development, problem solving, goal setting, and process improvements.

Qualifications

Minimun Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (2 year college degree preferred)

  • 1-3 years Maintenance Planning Experience

  • 5 year’s maintenance experience in industrial manufacturing setting

  • Computer proficiency (MS, WORD, Excel Maintenance Planning Software)

  • Excellent communication (verbal & written)

  • Excellent planning and time management skills

  • Available to work flexible hours and days as needed to support the business

  • Basic financial & business understanding

  • Cross functional knowledge and awareness

  • Analytical & math skills

  • Experience with TPM, 5s, and Lean 6 tools and concepts

Working Relationships

  • Reports directly to the Maintenance Manager with direct interface with the Maintenance & Repair Leader,

  • Coordinates the execution of maintenance loss prevention through the AR team (TBM/CBM, AR Process Techs) and interface with the operational business units and assigned staff.

  • Strong interface with Engineering and IL6S Pillar organization.

  • Works closely with Asset Reliability Technician and MRO Stores teams.
