Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L) is where you’ll integrate our end-to-end demand-driven supply chain. Working “from farm to shelf,” you’ll connect plants with customers to deliver best-in-class service in the most efficient way. Your goal will be to have the right products, at the right time, and with the right quantity and quality on the shelf.

Job Scope

The MTEC Transportation Optimization Specialist is directly responsible for the order once in OTM through to shipment acceptance, including mode selection, load optimization and routing guide compliance. They must work effectively across all CS&L functions, and cooperatively with numerous service providers, to ensure cost effective coverage for regular and short lead time orders. Monitor daily orders and shipment queries continuously throughout the day. Ensure orders are optimized through utilization of shipment consolidation queries. Identify gaps in transportation capacity, routing guide execution and service and initiate appropriate measures with Trans Planner and procurement. Daily interaction and resolution with carriers to identify and resolve service and capacity issues. Execute responsive transportation support for short lead time shipments, expedited deliveries, mode conversions, intransit diversions and other unplanned activities.
